| In the late 1980’s the DR600 was the largest Suzuki Enduro. In 1991, Suzuki introduced the DR650 in response to Honda’s 650 Dominator, having many similar mechanical aspects, but differing significantly in appearance.
The riding position was improved to give greater comfort for road riding. Power was similar, but Torque increased to 56.6nm @ 5000rpm, giving a punchy mid-range, making it ideal as a long distance ‘Adventure’ enduro model. |
